It should work on a 76F. You need to buy a seal kit to go with it anyway, and that is where the difference comes in.

Now I didn't say it was a good one. I just said I got it, for his engine. They might leak like sieves. If, you want a good one, get a Veshra, or Athena.

Well poo.Way to burst my bubble I seriously considered a Vesrah, but it was $100. All I really need right now is a clutch cover and a pan gasket. Those two separately were gonna run me $25. So I figured I chance it. Being cheap doesnt always pay out. Fingers crossed...

Cyclex I think sells the whole thing together, all the gaskets and seals including the o-rings.
About 100 if I remember right.

Shinny,
I just got an Athena set for my dohc. They are made in Italy and have good reviews. I was looking at the cheaper set and I think I found out they were Chinese... they make good food but, I don't trust their parts yet. so I paid $70 more for the Athena at Old Bike Barn. JMO.

Spoiler alert the Chinese are looking to market a car they build in China to be sold in the U.S. in the next couple of years... that should be interesting

I only used some side cover gaskets out if this cheapo kit. Put 'em on dry and they sealed up good. I actually had the clutch housing off several time sorting out some bugs and it still is doing fine. Pretty thick stuff actually. The head gasket might be junk but honestly, I would know the difference.

You actually received something from Old Bike Barn. I have never heard anything good about them. I'm surprised.
