Since my chain breaker is still in South Carolina, and I needed to break one of those damned endless chains. I went to harbor freight. My first mistake was taking Toolbabe. She immediately found all kinds of do dads, and things to fill a cart with. As I was looking around I spotted a few things I would like. I noticed an engine stand. Mine is in South Carolina, so I thought why not? I then noticed a 15 lb soda blaster, I have all kinds of parts to clean, so I thought why not? Then Toolbabe pointed out a little metal break in the clearance section. It was missing the handle, but I could use a long bolt, so I thought why not? Then As I was talking to the salesman about getting the engine stand, and soda blaster from the back. A man excused himself, and asked about the metal cutting chop saws on sale. The salesman said "there are two left," so I thought why not? As he was checking me out, for some dumb reason. I mentioned I was wanting a bike lift, and someday I would be back, for one. He then told me they had one that was in an open box, and would have a discount. I asked about the price. he checked with the manager, and it was about half price, so I thought why not? Well now I can't get in the shop to remove the chain.

P.S. I also picked up a small fridge, and a case of beer, for the shop.

Since TOOLS has all the tools now, I nominate his garage as the "gateway of last resort" for CB750 repairs.  I just got a small compressor at an auction (it needed a regulator knob/adjuster, which cost more than I paid for the whole unit), and I've been looking at Harbor Freight for hoses, and some basic tools. I expect a good impact gun would make tire changing that much handier. I'll keep looking around and see what I can find. I haven't had to resort to any breaker bars yet. Toughest bolt I've loosened was the rear axle on the new Avenger.
Congratulations on the new tools, TOOLS. I hope they work well, and may all your repairs go smoothly.

Thanks Luke. Word of advice about air hoses. Get the rubber ones. The pvc ones are a pain in the butt when they are cold.
