Is this the orignial part? it is called a swingarm bearing kit.
I was told I have "worn swingarm bushings" is this another part? does the bearing kit replace the bushings?

will someone please explain what they know about swingarm bushings and this kit.

I'm new here, but from what I can find I only see bushings and not bearing kits. I guess it depends on how it is stated by whom ever. But bushing is my bet.

You should not have ANY bushings on your swingarm. They would last about a day. They are needle bearings which are long, rodlike bearings. Buy the bearings and make sure you grease them with a good coating of waterproof grease, but be careful not to knock the bearings out of their track Also grease the shaft. GREASE LINK Whoever told you that you have bushings there is wrong. NO BUSHINGS!!!

actually you are incorrect.. the cb750 f/k/a's did indeed use bushings from the factory no roller bearings from 69-78.  There is still a large group of cb750 guys that suggest replacing the factory bushings with brass bushings instead of roller bearings, noting they are not damaged by water and/or rust.  Dont beleive me? go to bikebandit.com, pull up a film and check for yourself.  I have gone with the roller bearing conversion in mine.

Haha! I stand corrected and YES, I know. I took mine apart recently and discovered the bushings.
