Hard to start when warm

I finely got to take a longer ride on my 1980 CB750C I felt it ran great no missing lots of power. When I took a short break 10 min it started right up but would not stay running had to use choke for a min. Ran fine all the way home just like on way out Idled fine at stop lights did not stall

I agree with Tools.The way the carbs hang off these bikes,the motor still has heat in it,but the carbs chill off.Especially if the wind is blowing any.Sounds about typical

Thanks I understand now  and won't worry I'm going to get to get stuck somewhere.
I have not been able to ride except for short trips. Hope to get out this weekend

How true that is also why I like this site. I have learned a lot just reading the post. I am not so intimidated I'm not afraid to try and try and fix things. I'm not a great maniac but I can fallow directions
