Headlight won't come on, need help!!!!!!

Richard
1979 CB750K headlight problem. New bulb, different switch. Have power coming to the switch via the blue and white wire but not to the light. Could both switches be bad? I removed the Windjammer fairing from the bike when i brought the bike home, the battery was dead at the time so I don't know if the light was  working. I bought a stock light, bracket and trim ring. I want to keep it stock . Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks. Richard
Can't wait to get this bike finished so I can start another one Just to drive my wife nuts.

Since you have power to both the white, and blue wires, it is not the switch. Your light probably needs to be grounded, or the light bulb unit is burned out.

Thanks Tools, I think I have it figured out. Checked all the connections and decided to try a switch that I found at a yard sale. all the wires were cut so I soldered the wires to the rest of  the harness and it worked. Thanks for your help.
