Hello from NJ

bsporty
I hope Im posting in the correct section, forgive me if Im wrong...So I got my first CB750f on saturday.I have been in love with these bikes for a while now and was super happy with finding what looks like a mostly all original bike.
I had a '00 Sportster and a '07 CBR600RR...I was laid off and had to sell them.Thats ok though cause Im much happier with my CB! I have been obsessed with the Cafe Racer style for a lonnnng time.Even my sportster had clip ons and rear sets lol
I was going to go that route with my CB but its in such nice shape I don't think I wanna go crazy as I am enjoying her original beauty.
My only problem is I am tip toeing the heck out of her...Im only 5'4.I did order some 11.5" shocks so hopefully that helps.Im having trouble finding a more low profile seat...I don't want to chop up my stock one cause its in perfect condition and that just feels wrong lol
I did find a nice Corbin seat but it was $400.Im looking for something that looks like the stock one but is more low profile so I can get a better reach.
If any one can help me Id appreciate it!

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough

Well, height can be an issue on bikes. the 11.5s will help and you can slide the forks up in the trees a bit to drop the front an inch or so.

As for the seat, look on ebay for a used seat. Pull the cover off and shave the foam off the top, then put a 1/4 inch layer of foam on the top to smooth it out. Put the cover back, or get a new one if the old cover is shot. You can probably shave about 2 inches off the seat height.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
