Help with electrical problem

Hey all,
I have redone th carbs check plugs and air flow to my bike. A 1981 cb750 f and got it running for about 2 or 3 minutes and then it died. I checked battery and it was dead. Ita a new nbattery so I recharged it. I then tried to turn bike on again and nothing the circuit isn't connecting... suggestions?  It was sitting for awhile that is why I redid carbs etc.

By nothing do you mean it won't even crank over? If so check the 30A fuse on the side of the starter relay under the left side cover.

Thanks for input. By nothing I mean that the headlight etc won't even come on.

Everything goes through that fuse.

Ok. Thanks.  Do you know where to get a new/functional replacement for that fuse?

Yeah, get a maxi-fuse holder(socket), and put some short pig-tails on it.  Wire the pig tails right into the srews that held the original metal-band fuse.  Now you have a fuse you can replace with a std maxi-fuse.
