Help with rear brake

Muscle racer
Hey guys.

My rear brake stopped working. The brake pedal goes all the way down but theres no resistance. I believe it just needs some brake fluid. I can't find the reservoir to fill with brake fluid. I downloaded the rider manual but it shows a pic of a 750f. Mine is a 78 750k. need some help.

Thanks

The rear brake on a '78 K model is a drum brake, not a disk brake.  If yours has a rear disc brake, then someone modified it, and the manual will be of little use.

Assuming your bike is stock, take a look at the cable attached to the drum, on the rear wheel, and follow it forward to the foot pedal.  It sounds like the cable is either broken, or disconnected.  Come back with what you find.  Cheers!

Muscle, if this is your 750K

That rear brake is a drum, check the linkage, check the adjustment & at worse case pull the wheel & change the shoes.
You may have lost the adjuster nut (1) or the brake arm (2) may be loose on the hub & slipping on the splines (or stripped).
