How low can you go?

Anyone know how low most cb750 bobber struts can be I foun some that are 9.5 inches from hole to hole, that is the lowest I can find.

It really depends on what size tire you have, or if your fender is modified, or any number of things. Put a jack under the bike, and remove the shocks. raise the rear wheel until it hits something, then back it off an inch, or so. take a measurement at the shock mounts, and you will have your shortest length.

Thanks again TOOLS thats what I did to get an idea . I am gonna have a bunch of  real good stock parts  I would rather see if people on here could use them instead of putting them on ebay. Like blinkers, brake light, fenders, seat, backseat with luggage rack and a few others.

Yes you can. They come in two sizes 7/8, or 1 inch. Just be sure to get the right size. The grips also have two different inside diameters. The larger one goes on the throttle. Also it is a good idea to clean everything with rubbing alcohol, and spray hairspray on the handlebar, and the inside of the grip right before sliding them on. another trick is to push on the end of the grip, and not squeeze it while shoving it on.

Thanks man you are great for responding to all my questions, I almost have a ll the parts for my bike!  Cant wait to get it all put together, sportster tank , lowering struts,  I just cant wait to make some harley guys jelous thats my goal!
