How much oil does the tank hold?

I looked in the FSM and couldn't find it. I need to make an oil tank and am not sure what capacity to make it.  Thanks.

Well if you are making one, you can do it whatever size really BUT I would say the tank holds about 2 quarts. maybe 2.25.

Thanks ReRun.I guess I could just fill one and measure it.I was guessing about 2 qts also. I wasn't sure if I had a lesser amount of oil if/what problems it could create.

Some oil always stays in the motor as you know. And as long as it circulates you are ok. But less oil means you will be changing it much more and there is less cooling from the oil you do have.

I measured the oil tank capacity tonight. Not counting the lines,the tank holds 54 oz total.
