Well, maybe I'm crazy ("probably" might be closer) but I just bought a 1981 750K.  Supposedly it has mileage under 20k, and all is in good working order at this time.  I hope I don't regret the purchase down the road.  I guess regret will be directly proportional to the number and severity of surprises.

Does anybody have words of wisdom or condolence?

p.s. - I had a 1972 model in 1973 and have always regretted selling that great bike.  We'll see if the trip back in time matches my memory.

Don't drink downstream from the heard..

Seriously these are just as reliable if not more so than any other 30 year old bike.
Most parts are still readily available (for a price) from Honda.

Thanks for the encouragement.  The cost of parts and my abilities are the things I questioned on the purchase.  I will have to "grow" a little in the mechanical ability dept!
