I broke my bike, HELP!!!!!

So I had not taken my Honda out in months and go figure the bike was dead, my battery was toast. I purchased a new battery installed it got the bike running and everything worked great, for about 10 minutes...I let it run for a few minutes since it had'nt been running in a while, as soon as I hopped on the bike and but it in gear I started to accelerate and the bike died, it lost power. I tried to turn it back on and it would'nt work. I cant get any power to the bike, I checked the battery and its good, the fuses are all good, all of my wiring seems to be fine from what I can see, so I cant seem to figure out what happend. If anybody has any clue as to what this issue might be, I could really use some help.

Well I would guess 2 things. Either a fuse or its holder is bad even though it looks good, or the ignition switch or its connector is acting up. I would check the fuse and clean the holder first. From there, pup the ignition switch connector off and clean it using plastic safe contact cleaner and do the same with the ignition switch. Give it time to dry and see if that gives you power and lights.
