I did a bad thing last fall. I moved out of my old place onto a farm. Things got chaotic and time got away from me. So instead of properly winterizing my bike and placing the battery on a charger for the winter I just parked it in a barn and kinda forgot about it.
Well now summer is here and Noa's floods are over I've been having the itch to ride. I've been ordering stuff online that I want to put on, but have been dreading going out and looking the bike over. So today I got the guts to go out and see how she did. God she was filthy! I drop the key in to see if the electrics still work and to see if she would at least roll over for me. Surprisingly there was actually some good crank in the battery. I decided to go for broke, opened the petcock and gave her the choke. sputter-sputter fired then died. pushed in the choke, gave a few flicks of the throttle and.......
SHE FIRED RIGHT UP!!!! You just have to love the resiliency of the bikes, you just can't kill them!!!
It's only illegal if you get caught.
If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid
95% of Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... The other 5% made it home.
