I need a good starting point

lcochran
The bike is a 75 Cb750F.  So in august my ignition went out, this past weekend i got the new one installed and i finally have spark at all four plugs.  I kicked her over and she would fire up but ran very roughly.  Only would run with choke all the way open.  Also under heavy throttle she would bog down.  I drove her around the block and she died coming back up the slight hill so i pushed her.  I had the carbs rebuilt in 2008 and she has ran perfectly until the ignition went out in august.

Where do i start with my problems?
Is an entire carb rebuild neccesary? or is there a specific part of the fuel system you think might be the problem.

Bike is located in auburn Alabama.  Does anyone know a good honda mechanica in the area?

Check the tank, fuel cap vent, and the petcock first.

Tank is fine, has fresh gas. Pet cock is flowing freely in all positions, vent tube is venting.  What next?
