I have been mulling the idea over of starting a blog to document the work I'm going to be doing to my bike this Winter. I want to be able to show other guys; who are maybe struggling with some of the same repairs how I dealt with them. Plus, if I have lots of big, clear pics then I can more easily get help from others!
I wasn't sure if it's ethical to use this forum to promote my blog but the conclusion I came to was this. Since I am doing this as for documentary purposes an I AM NOT using it to make money it's cool. I didn't want people to think that I am trying to generate traffic to my blog. Besides I am going to be posting some pretty hi-res pics on there. I don't know about you, but I hate pic-heavy forum posts.
I also plan to review some of the parts I buy and the vendors I buy from. With the cost of some of this stuff and the amount of vendors out there I am kinda lost when I try to find things online sometimes. Word of mouth is great, but it's better when it's not paid for and when it's honest. Which is what makes these forums priceless, and why I will be directing people here.
Anyway, you can find it over at
http://78cb750.wordpress.com/ Depending on how things at work are going I will begin updating in a week or so. I'm going to wring some more riding out of this Summer first!
