I was at the ATM today and spotted a SQUID....

MarkPBG
He was riding a 1000cc sport bike (of course) and wearing gloves with plastic armor, a full face helmet, and a synthetic jacket with more external armor than I've ever seen. So what makes him a SQUID? He was wearing this top end gear over a pair of swim trunks and flip flops! DUH, what's the point?

Maybe he didn't want to overdo it with long pants and good boots.  He was halfway right, I guess.

Half The Gear, All The Time?

Shoot, I used to get scraped up riding a bicycle, I can't imagine the road rash if I lay down a 500 lb motorcycle at a decent rate of speed.

Swimming trunks!?  Yeah, that won't protect the jiblets at all. It would just be hard to shift with flip flops.

So if he goes down he'll be dubbed 'Stumpy'? He'd grind more than his pegs off, that's for sure...

As one who one year ago may14th, broke 6 ribs, punctured a lung, had a concussion, but no road rash, I would say you had better dress the part!

Better to wear it and not need it, than to need it and not wear it.
