IGNITION COILS

RodneyCB750K1979
I noticed both coils have a split in their cases.  Is this normal for their age or do I need to order replacements?

If they still work, just seal them with RTV silicone.  Cheers!

I have a coil that was split when I got the bike. Close to 12k miles(my miles) on it now without an issue. And I didn't even think to seal it.That's probably a great idea.

Thanks guys for your comments. I'll make sure they work and seal the cracks. You saved me some money.

If you do decide to get new ones make sure you get dynamic or acceleration, not stock.
