Just a statment of fact

FastCletus
IF I could stand on a soap box and say SPEED BLEEDERS rule, I would!   I just got some last  night and re-bled my back brake. Holy Sh*t wow was that easy.  I have never had that good of experience with brake bleeding, but this makes it so much better.  Ordered 2 for the front as well

Absolutely agree.  Installed them on my '79, waiting to install them on my Voyager, next Spring (hydraulic clutch, front brakes x 2, and the rear disc brake).  I would recommend the name brand, however, not a knock-off:  link.  The older Honda's are no longer listed, but he still carries the correct sizes for them -- just e-mail the web master for the correct type.  Worth every penny, IMO.  Makes bleeding an easy, one-man job.  And that means it will likely be done more often, as it should be.  Cheers!

Because my buddy was talked into a set of those by a local independent HD shop, and he wanted me to use them on his duel disc conversion. They would not bleed! The master cylinder could not compress the air enough to get them to work. Try bleeding a dry front break system with them sometime.

Well come tomorrow night I will be doing just that.  Bleeding a bone dry front brake system.  I plan on just filling master and letting it drip into system for a bout an hour and then bleed them

I've only had my 750 for a few weeks but I have used Speed Bleeders on my Porsche for 8 years and they work great on the car.

The master cylinder on a car moves a lot more fluid then the one on a motorcycle, and they are trying to push the air down as far.

man, I just took my 79 down a gravel road yesturday, now I have a front set of brakes
that are dragging.

and you guys have me nervous

I mean, I've had a ton of grief with single disc's,
let alone 2.

I have all day tomorrow to knock these calipers down, clean 'em up and
get ready for a trip that's planned for friday.

Any suggestions on doing the bleed, would be greatly appreciated.

tanks in advance guys........grado

Use a pump type oil can, and a piece of vacuum hose to pump the fluid up to the master cylinder from the bleeder.

Well I filled and bled a bone dry front brake system.  The easiest bleed I have ever done.  I only had one speed bleeder, so I bled one side using it, and then bled the other side the traditional way.
So happy with all new brakes all the way around.  Not as good as my duck, but darn better than my cb500T

The can thing worked pretty good!

Thought the calipers were gonna be toast, but it was the allen screws/pins the pads slide on.

They were gunked up with old grease or neversieze,  thanks guys.
