Just wanted to introduce myself.....

kigsby
Hi all!   Just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Keri and I'm in Tampa.  I just picked up a '75 750F and I just love the bike.  My only problem is the kickstand is so short and the bike leans over so much, I have a real tough time lifting it.  For now I guess I'll carry a block of wood around with me (how embarrassing!)   Had an absolute blast riding it this past weekend.   My husband and I just started riding about a year and a half ago, and I became obsessed!   I fell in love with vintage bikes and started out with a '62 Honda CA77 (Dream).  It was $500, in several boxes, and had to be put together.  Using forums, youtube videos and books, I actually put it together and got it running!  Been hooked ever since.  I moved up to a Moto Guzzi and this is my first 4 carb bike.   I need to give the 750 a tune up this weekend and clean it up a bit.  I'll get a pic to post and I thank you in advance for the ton of questions I'll be asking.  I'll try to search for the answers first so I drive you all nuts with newbie questions.

Welcome to the forum!  You'll have a blast with your 750.  I didn't know that the SOHC's had short kickstands.  Is it possible that it's not stock?  My 81 DOHC kickstand keeps my bike fairly upright.
