Cycle-X has some good prices on seats, and I know a guy that does custom leather work if, you want something fancy. I'm having him make a seat, for my bike.

Looks great! Did, you slug the tube that goes up to the shock mount, that the seat tubs go to? I have seen them bend there. If, you slug them with a piece of 1 inch .120 wall mechanical tubing they will be a lot stronger.

That does look good. I like how it kicks up at the back. Great job man! Hardtail stance with the added luxury of suspension...priceless!

Yep.  slugged em up.  I wound up using 1" emt conduit for the frame.  It's the only thing I could find that I had a bender for.  I think I'm going to cut off the back peg mounts also.

Cut 'em offl! I hate those triangles hanging off the back.JMO,of course. Those are the first things I whacked off. That emt is MUCH stronger than people realize.

Got the oil tank in.  Trying to make the battery and electrics fit.  Mocked up a standard 14H battery.  Not much room to work with.  Do you guys think I could get away with a smaller battery?

That's a question I am also wondering about. I am going to have to go to Battery's Plus, and talk to someone there, when I have time again.

I know what you mean.  The engineers at Honda think we are built like John Wayne over here.
The seat was made from a fiberglass pan molded right on the frame.
I may need some help from you guys when I get into the oil lines.
