Longer rear shocks for DOHC cb750?

surfish95747
Hey guys, I am curious. What effect will longer shocks on the rear of my 1980 CB 750K? The ONLY thing I do not like about these bikes are the descending seat party of the frame. I realize this is probably a pure cosmetic change, but if I raised the rear by 1" or so, will that have a negative effect on the performance of the bike? Currently my shocks measure 14". Thanks!

Unless you are a world class road racer, you will not notice any difference. However it is not going to change the shape of your frame.
