That's it.

I found it at a yard sale last week with a side car attached to it. I could not afford it, but I have a friend that is really into side cars, so I called him, and he bought it. However he only wanted the Vetter Teraplane side car, so I was going to buy the bike from him. However my buddy Bob really wanted the bike, and I have enough projects to keep me busy for some time, so I let him get it. He is hiding it from his wife at my house though. Which is totally alright with me.

I'd be quite happy to look after it too!
They're as rare as rocking-horse sh*t here in the UK.
I hope he's a good enough buddy to let you ride it at some point?

If I remember correctly, they have a 360 degree crank and 2 balancer shafts. Reputedly at least as smooth as an inline 4 cylinder.

Or is it 2-1-2-1-2-1?

I guess it depends on your point of view. :-)

I mean if it sputtered like a Harley or thumped like a Brit. Being Japanese, I didn't really expect sputtering.

It's only illegal if you get caught.
