Love the tank. Will those forks work on your bike? Are there any advantages to using those forks?

Hi "shinyribs";
This quote was from a thread dated April 23, 2012.  The 2 bikes being discussed are a CB900C and a DOHC CB750K.
I have a '79 750K and a '80 CB900C.   The paint on the 900 is ugly, the exhaust pipes are going bad, plus the engine needs a new clutch basket.  I have run the bike at over 85 mph for several hours.  The engine runs fine.  The clutch basket just clunks.  If I take the forks out, I will just about give away the rest.  I would like to take the front end off of the 900 and stick it on my 750.  I never did see any other discussion on this subject.  Any idea where I might find more info on the swap?
Tanks for da help.
