Lowering the rear

Hi all .  I would like to lower the rear end a little .  I seen that some of the sohc shocks are shorter . Anyone know what years would fit the 1980 cb750f ? And has anyone done this ??  Thanks

                        What are the length of yours now ?  
              Have you check to tell if yours (dampeners)are good ?

The SOHC bikes use the same shocks as the DOHC bikes. You could use CB 350 shocks, or get 11" shocks from Cycle X. Also, you could find a set of lowering blocks.
