Shinyribs, I have ricor race valve emulators, lightweight synthetic oil and 90 kg sonic springs in the forks of my '07 SV650n.  Along with the GSXR rear shock and help setting up the suspension from my nephew, that bike ROCKS.  Yes, the suspension is stiff, but it is the epitomy of a modern cafe racer...a modern 650 twin, stripped down to bare necessities, made to go fast in town...

Thanks for the info MWP. I havent heard of that brand, all I have been able to find are the Race Tech Gold Valves.Ill have to check those out. Thanks!

The springs you mentioned, are they progressives or are they a linear rate made just for cornering? I really want to go progressive for a smooth ride, but I want it handle good first and foremost.

My old CB750L had air forks on it.  Is that the same thing?
I liked the adjustability on my old bike. I just had to remember to use a hand pump and not the service station one when filling them. They only need maybe 3-5 psi to work.

Ribsy, if I were you, I'd hightail it to your buddy's place and get one of those GoldWings. I've been itching for one for a while, but I don't have the room...or the money...or the time.  Doesn't mean I won't get one eventually.

Sorry for the delay in response, I'm an old fart and not too easily dragged into the 21st century technology of computers and forums.  Anyhow, sonicsprings.com have what I believe are linear springs, along with the ricor intiminator valves I have fantastic front end response.

No problem wmp309,you probably have a life and things to do!I checked on those springs and it seems they do not make them for a CB750.Thanks for the info all the same.

Luke, that "buddy" is a flake. I'll believe he has two GL's up for grabs when I see one of them. You know the type...
