Illinois has a law like that. I wish Missouri would adopt it. I get caught at lights all the time that have the weight sensor. I usually try to pull forward and get a car behind me to pull onto the sensor. But a lot of the time there is not any cars behind me, or the driver will not pull up. Sometimes I will just make a right turn, and then turn around.
