Need Windshield Guidance

I do not yet  have a CB750, so please excuse ignorance.  Was going to buy a CB750F (although my preference would be a CB750K.  Did not purchase because my research indicated that the Front end on the F was modified for better (sportier) handling AND that a handlebar mounted windshield should not be used.   I do not ride without a windshield.

Questions.

1.  Does the same restriction apply to the K model?

2.  Is there a windshield currently available that mounts to the forks?

3.  Is Honda merely covering their backside and owners have had no problems in using a handlebar mounted windshield (which one) in highway use?

4.  Would highly value any and all windshield related experience for both the F and K models.

I would not worry about it. I have not heard anything about the f being different from the k really.
The whole thing with handlebar shields is mainly that the wind can grab the shield and pull you out of control.
I suppose a big part of it is the size of the shield used. I know I have ridden smaller bikes with bar mounted shields and no issue but never hit high cross winds. If it is an issue, you could always mount a steering damper to the bike.
