Need a dual disc master cylinder

slownugly007
I jumped the gun and removed my old master cylinder and got rid of it, bought a new one....the bore was too small for dual disc, bought one of an 89 ZX10, rebuilt it and got it looking goooooood...reservoir hits handlebar clamps!?  hahaha So now im on the hunt for another one, would like to just go back to my stocker cuz i know it fit. So if anybodies got one theyd like to get rid of let me know. Thanks

For custom work, I prefer the Kawasaki master cylinders. They come in straight, and angled, so they should fit anything. They also have a 5/8" bore. They will have "5/8" on the bottom. Also they are super easy to rebuild.

Ok cool, Ill check those out Tools. Any particular year to look for? I really liked the one off the ZX10, it was easy to rebuild and had the adjustable lever and had a real clean design.

Shiny, sorry I didnt get to work on the bike last night but Im going over there today so ill snap a picture and send it to you. If you end up wanting it I can throw it and the vapor in a box and get the both to you.

Why not find a master for a goldwing? Late 70s - early 80 master should fit no problem. Or get one for a cb750F. You know that will work.

Otherwise maybe go to a shop and do some measurements on some masters they have there and see what fits. Virtually anything today will have enough power, from a 500cc bike on up.
