it's yours for free! Well, you do have to pay for shipping, but it's still a great deal! 90% thread, 130 90 17 rear cheng shin tire. I'll take pay pal, money oder, EBT card, lunch money or what ever you got for shipping payment. Just take a picture of your bald tire and post it, the one with the baldest tire gets it! I thought this would be fair and fun at the same time.

This is a cool idea. It should be at the top of the page. Wish I knew how to move the topics. Maybe Luke, or Re-run will move it.

Looks OK to me to leave it here. Technically, it's a For Sale ad, right? Maybe it could go in Everything But.
Easy enough to move. Just let me know, either one of you.

That's a good idea Luke. Go on, and put it in "everything but", and pin it.

That's next week I'm going to have to go out, and get busy doing some burnouts TOOLS

I was just shopping yesterday for a new tire! Mine has a severe cut all the way around the side wall and is bald! I'll get a pic here soon!

I may need to do some burnouts to make it even more sad looking but here is my tire :( poor thing. It had such potential too.
Oh and how did this happen....... NO IDEA! actually I obtained it this way last year but I had no money after getting the bike so everything I did was free and mostly restoring the beauty! Now I need to get new tires!

No need for a burnout but is it on both sides? looks like the fender was rubbing
|
|
There are a couple scuffs but not near the damage on the pictured side. I have no idea what it is from. I have no clearance issues and am no where near rubbing anywhere. But I don't know the history of this tire/rim. It is definitely something I've never seen before haha

I think my tires are as old as my '76 bike. Pics coming soon.

The sidewall is pretty cracked and the thread will split off from the tire with enough speed and heat. If you look into the thread ridges you can see where it is coming off. Like I said earlier, I think my tires are as old as my bike.
I am currently taking a lot of risk during my daily highway commute on this bike so I'm willing to make an offer because I'm a bit desperate.
thanks..

I would not ride that tire around the block. Is your tire a 17, or 18 inch?
