Need quick help - replacing the brake fluid reservoir

micallen
I'm getting ready to replace the brake fluid reservoir on my 81 CB 750C.  My wife drove my car and the shop manual is in IT.  SO... is it fairly simple?  Can someone give me the steps.  Looks like the 2 screws that hold the top on, also hold the brake fluid reservoir on too.  Is that all?

Help, please !!!??!

Why do you need to replace a brake fluid reservoir? An little more explaination is in order. Was the bike laid down and the res is trashed perhaps? Normally all you do is fill the fluid.
I can see November from my house

Got it done.

It was leaking.  I assume from the ) ring, but the plastic was literally deteriorating on the outside, so I replaced both.  It looks better too.  One less eyesore and one less leak.

Now, to get the fork seals replaced...

what did you replace it with? Source, price? I may have to do the same as the elements have not been kind to the 79 750 K I just picked up.

The reservoir was around $28 and the O-ring another $4-5.
