Have you cleaned out the fuel tank? If the bike sat for a long while, it may have varnish deposits within. The rest of the fuel system may have varnish build-up, as well. I would suggest adding the correct amount of
SeaFoam to a full tank of gasoline, and run it for five minutes, to circulate it through the entire fuel system, then shut it off, and let it sit overnight. This will give it time to dissolve any crud in the fuel system. It isn't magic, but it does a good job on varnish. Cheers!
