Hey people. Been browsing the forum for awhile figured I should join.
My bike is a 1980 honda cb750 I got for free. It has 40k miles on it and just got a new set of carbs for it. They are cb900 carbs however. I figured the bigger factory jetting would help with straight exhaust and pods. I know these carbs hate pods but I hate that factory airbox. I will make em work.
Did a compression test and 1 and 4 are over 140. sadly only 2 and 3 are at 70-90psi. Looks like I need a top end rebuild.
Anyone provide links for the correct gasket set and piston rings for this model bike? Also a nice pdf service manual link?
Other bikes I have include: 2003 honda VT750 ACE, 2006 Kawasaki zx6rr, and a 2009 Kawasaki ninja 250R.
