Very, Very nice. Even though I have my styrofoam buck made to fiberglass my custom seat, I gotta ask...
Where did you get yours, Benji's?
I am familiar with approx 90% of the aftermarket stuff and wonder which one you bought that fit our DOHC frames.
No wonder you sold me the gas cap latch, your body-man did a great job eliminating it.

I got the rear section from Carpys, and the seat pan I made myself out of fiberglass, glassed in two mounting bolts, and glassed in two pieces of steel to reinforce the back section of the pan. As for mounting the rear section I welded in several support pieces across the frame and then drilled and mounted it as flush as possible. Carpys site doesnt say that his parts are specifically for the SOHC's, I found out the hard way they are, but I made it work, took a little creativeness but I think I got her done ok lol.

You did more than "ok". You did really well!

Crapy's stuff does not exactly fit the SOHC bikes either.

Thats good to know Tools, I have to say I wasnt very impressed with his stuff, like his drop right in battery box which for me was anything but, or his customer service. I originally ordered an oval tail light and he sent me the round one, after emailing him a copy of my order and telling him I preferred the oval instead of the round he never responded. After looking at the round one I have to say Im good with it, I like it better it fits the lines better imo, but to not respond to emails, and not back your product up when I tell you that the battery box doesnt fit, thats just poor customer service, and I wont be ordering from him again. This is my experience only, Im sure others have had good service. Thanks for the kind words Shiny, its really appreciated, now Im just waiting for spring to actually spring in my neck of the woods so I can really get her tweaked and dialed in!

Hey barely, welcome to the forum! great job on the 750, nice to have a bike to fall back on when the chopper breaks down lol. That's the first stereo I've seen on here since I took the 8-track player, (and hidden mp3 player) out of my fairing. I think I may have to hide it back on the bike somewhere now just for laughs. cheers - see you around.
most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handelbars to the saddle.

Thanks easy, and right now its the other way around on which bike is broken down! The chopper is great, but Im still dialing in and tweaking the 750 lol. I have to have some tunes, and I figured I could hear the stereo better on this bike then the chopper, those pipes are LOUD!!!
