New to this forum and have decided to start my own custom build.
i have a cb750 custom ( C ) and im having trouble finding aftermarket parts for it. for example im looking for a 4 into 1 exhaust and sometimes it will show my year bike but not the same model (ex: 1980 cb750 K)

 my question is will the same year be good enough to determine if it will fit my bike??

have a million more questions but i'll start with this one since it has been bugging me for awhile

Yeah, the exhausts will fit on the same year or series. eg. the same configuration will fit DOHC's 79-83.

The fun you're going to have is if you are replacing a 4x4 or 4x2 exhaust with a 4x1, you'll have to rejet. There are other threads that cover rejetting, giving good starting points.

It's probably more like you may have to rejet. Many (like mine) work fine with the stock jetting and 4-1 -some don't and need some modification. You will need to re-tune your carbs to dial them in, but rejetting isn't always necessary.
