New valve question

When you buy new valves that supposedly fit your bike and your seats are undismayed and cleaned up should they make a perfect seal or is lapping them going to be needed sorry if this is a stupid question this is my first time working with these bikes.

You can lap them if you want but it may take a while for things to seat.

Lapping has been around a long time so you can still try it and if you F-up, the seat can still be cut.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
