Newbie with a CB750

Hi there.
I'm new to the site and just bought my first project bike. Apparently its a 1986 model.
The vin number on the registration document is SC092005020, Could anyone tell me if the bike is in fact an '86 model?

That looks like a great start to a project. I like those gold rims,haven't seen those before.

Got any other pics of it? The engine and pipes look like a750C model... and a K seat/tail section but from the 79-83 models. I think Honda changed to the nighthawks in 84, which have a different looking engine.. not sure of the difference on the internals, but this one definitely looks like a 750.

I believe the 900f's had gold rims.
