Oil leaK

My 74 cb750 has developed a steady oil leak from the bottom left side of the engine, when running or warm. I haven't had the chance to take some covers off to determine the exact spot.
Any known failures from seals or gaskets from that side (left, sitting on bike)

Stator cover gasket has probably started leaking.

To be sure, clean the engine off with some rags and simple green and watch to find the leak. Tools is probably right, but the left side of the head is known to leak as well. So it is best just to make sure so you don't tear apart the wrong thing.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

I finally located the leak. Inside the sprocket area, looks like an old weld. Anyway that can be fixed or welded over?

Clean it real good with some "Brake Clean, or acetone" then sand it a little to rough it up, and apply JB Weld. It will never leak again.
