Oil leak from behind crankshaft seal. 1980 cb900f/c.

Hey guys,

Hoping someone can help me. Just finished building a cb900f out of cb900c, was running great, but now I seem to have an oil leak from behind the rotor on the alternator (aka the right side of the crank shaft) seal but it's from the center not outside of the seal. It only seems to be the thin oil and only leaks after I start it. Could there be a clog in the oil system mamarking the oil pressure rise up? How would I trouble shoot this??

There should not be any "pressurized" oil there. I would check the crankcase vent. If the crankcase is not vented it will cause pressure to build up inside it and could force oil out.
