Open headers

I like the way it sounds with no muffler just the open header (4 into 1). I don't like my neighbors  (loud dog that can bark for hours). Am I doing any harm if I run that way for any extended miles? Might have to re jet and deal with the law.

They do sound good like that. I ran a 4-1 with a removable baffle for a while. Always fun to slide the baffle out from time to time.

What are you running for an air filter?

Do you have much popping on decel?

I was running pods and had to increase my pilots and mains. But running with or without the baffle ,once jetted for the pods, there was no difference.

That's the answer I was hoping for. Running pods and no popping while running in garage, it's to freeking cold to even run down the street yet to get any answers on performance. I am hoping to rebuild carbs soon and start playing with jets. Thanks again man.
