Parts Interchange

Deer Slayer
I was just wondering if anyone had any success using parts from other bikes that didn't need any modification. Most of the auto salvage yards have parts interchange books to show which parts interchange, but I've never heard anyone talk about this for bikes. Thanks.

Most online Honda parts vendors have the online micro-fische that you can find the factory part number...
SOME have a reverse parts look-up, in other words you enter the part number you have and see if it is available...
Of those, some like www.hondapartsnation.com have the applications "Where used" button that you can see all what bikes had that part number installed.

Tried this site and they didn't seem to carry parts for CB750s.

They do have CB750 parts, at least the ones you can still get OEM. Lucky1 is right, part # must be available for it to work.... Maybe I gave a bad example but they are out there.
