i see your missing the locking latch that goes over the fuel cap. i got one kicking around i will sell pretty cheap if you are in the USA. i dont have a key for it but a locksmith can make one.

but the bike looks great

Thanks, I have it but took it off because of no key either.

So no one noticed the handlebars off of a '78 750k?

The original '79's are longer.

Looks good. Here are a couple pics of mine. She's still getting work but she's almost done (for the time being). 1982 CB750k I pulled the windjammer off got a 1980 headlight assembly on her and rattle canned the paint because it was in horrid shape. I'm missing decals on the side panels but other than that she's cosmetically back in pretty good shape.. well obviously minus the front wheel still being off. I'm changing the brake rotor atm.

i thought they looked smaller, but didnt know they were from a 78'. thats the first think i did when i got my 79 ' f .cb750+fresh+paint.jpg
