Piston rings

beemerboy
I ordered piston rings from CB750supply. I expected RIK brand rings which I have used before in other motorcycles. What I received were TKRJ brand rings. The boxes say "Made in Japan". I am suspicious of them. Does anyone have any experience with the TKRJ brand piston rings?

Never thought about differences in the brands of the rings, but I have had nothing but good experiences with vintagecb750.com parts. And unlike in the 70s today anything "Japanese" is usually good quality.

Your going to put Japanese made rings in a Japanese bike!?!
It's only illegal if you get caught.

I have no problem with Japanese made rings in a Japanese motorcycle. My problem is that no one in the CB750 community seems to have heard of this brand. Maybe you believe everything it says on the label. Perhaps you are not aware that the communist chinese pukes have been selling a lot of crap labeled as being made in Japan

Their address is in Japan.  Their email address uses a Japanese server.  Ueda Motorcycle Company (parent company) has been around over 40 years.  In Japan.  Just sayin'.
