I have an 81 CB 750K. Its in great shape except for the exhaust and a few minor cosmetic things. Its my first bike and I've been satisfied with it but I'm already thinking about the future. My plans for the next few seasons is to ride it and keep it maintained and not go crazy with mods and custom parts and maybe save for another bike in the mean time. Then I can decide to either sink that money into a new bike or use it to trick this one out. So I guess my question, or at least the discussion I'd like to start is whether or not its a better idea to keep a cb thats in good shape as stock as i can, or to convert it into a cafe a racer or something more custom. Is that an investment? Would I be better investing money in it now in terms of a new exhaust for example. I'm just looking for some thoughts from fellow cb lovers.
