Question about cylinder head installation

mikes84
Hello all, I'm trying to finish up my first engine rebuild on my 92 nighthawk. I tried putting the cylinder head on today but got stuck as the cam chain guide, which has to be seated in it's notches, will not bend in order to get the head over it and on. If I loosen it until the head is on, then it won't seat and will prevent the head going on all the way. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Mike

It should go on over the guide. Is the guide on upside down?
