RIM COMPATABILITY

Truck
Anyone know of a web site that will tell me what rims are compatible with what bikes? I found a real nice set of 86 Goldwing rims that i like but i'm not sure if they would fit my bike. I know early 80's Goldwing rims are intercahngeable.
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

You may want to call the good folks at Buchanan's.  I believe they have a pretty good data base onJapanese rims.  Plus, if you can't find what you're looking for they can make it.  I'm assuming you need a 40 spoke rim. Look for that and the width you need.

The Gold Wing front wheels will interchange, but the rear hub will not. However you can use an early Gold Wing 40 spoke rear rim on a CB 750 spoked hub.

I think Truck has a shafty.

Any chain driven wheel can go on any chain driven bike. Just depends on how much you are willing to modify to make it go.

Yup, need the shaft. originally I was looking for spokes, but then I saw these, thought they looked kinda cool.

I kinda dig those rims, too. They remind me of the old hurricane rims like the General Lee had.
