Reaming sizes for K7 valve guides? all help welcome! CR750 replica

Butterworth7v
Having trouble making sense of the threads on this subject  Could really do with knowing what size/make/colour/density basically everything about what reamer i will be needing to get the right clearance for my valve guides!

There are some on ebay for around £20 but the one on David Silver is £45!

One workshop manual states .259/.260 but my mechanic seems dead set on 4.5mm?

Thanks in advance!

.260" = 6.6mm. Both are a long way from 4.5mm. I really doubt a .250" valve stem will go into a 4.5mm hole. I think I would find another machinist. Also if you are reaming valve guides, I am assuming you are replacing them with new ones that need to be reamed to size, so why not go to Cycle-X and get the correct guides that do not need to be reamed?

That's what was confusing me, obviously a miscommunication with the 4.5mm measurement.
the mechanic remeasured the guides today and came out with .260 or 6.6mm so according to the other threads and forums a .259/6.58mm reamer will do? David Silver to the rescue! Thanks for your quick reply, much appreciated!
