The stock carb clamps SUCK!!!!
So I went on a hunt, and found these 8mm cut to length clamps.

I started by cutting the banding to length with a pair of side cutters.
I then took my Dremal tool, and smoothed off the cut ends.
I then put a little bend on the end of the band, so it would go into the little doo-hicky thing, and catch on the tab.
Then I bent it back up to lock it in.
I now have a clamp that will tighten onto the rubber boots, and seal them.
