Got my sissy bar today! Packed EXCELLENT, too. Foam around the chrome supports. Definitely an excellent guy to get stuff from. Fair price for the both of us, too, I think.

Definitely a guy I'll buy more from if I need more stuff. Thanks again!

Oh man, you're gonna make me blush
Let me know how mounting that thing goes for you -I have a couple longer bolts and spacers that I think might work if you need them

Btw, I do like to use copious amounts of foam, but people usually notice the tape -I love me some packin tape!

Ha, nope. But at least I turned it inside out so he wasn't disappointed when he opened it!
Just wait, Tools, I found a box for your stuff today and it's another fun one

I have been slackin' a bit with the updates lately.. Life in general has been CrAzY. I will do my best to do another update tonight (and maybe put up some more photos)

No! I was upset.

9/10 shipping!

As for the bolts, probably cheaper to get 'em from the hardware store. Besides, the 4 that hold the plates up probably won't be an issue since I've already got the back stand on there. I'm going to remove that and put the sissy bar up instead. So the bolts are probably long enough already. So just need the ones for the sissy bar to supports. Which I found after I'd unwrapped everything else. Went to open the box a bit more for my cat to jump in, and saw 'em. Was like... hey! Awesome!

Are you using the carbs from the 900 with the 900 guts? Because if you want to get rid of the 750 carbs, and they're round tops, I'd be interested in them.

There is a good chance I will be willing to let go a complete set of 750 carbs, but they are the CV type carbs.
They do have round tops, but are not to be confused with the "round tops" that came on older SOHC's (like on Shiny's.

...or my 1974? lol
Not so sure it will matter. I plan on shining them up and using them on my cafe project, I just like the look of the older ones better. It's not for racing, just cruising.

The CV's will not fit a SOHC engine.

Mr serious, parts are slimming out and I need to regroup and reorganize a little bit. However, if there is something specific you need, feel free to PM me and I'll let you know.

Glad you're happy with the new parts! Is there any way you could measure the diameter of that axle for me?
It would help a lot for my front end conversion!

No problem. The axle is 15mm, the places where they mount in the forks is 20mm, and the inside to inside mounting is 150mm +/-. Also it is the exact same as a SOHC axle. I'm guessing the spacers are different though.

I'm still looking for mine. I'm hoping they're just hiding in the box.
