Service (Portland Oregon)?

tbirnseth
New to this forum.  Glad there's a cb750 specific forum.  Lots of good advice out there, but make/model specific is always better.

Just picked up an 80 CB750C with Sidecar.
Been sitting a while and idles fast when warmed up so assuming there's a vacuum leak somewhere or carbs need sync/adjustment.

I used to do my own work but now getting too old to bend over for that long! :-)

Anyone recommend someone in the Portland area that can do a thorough once-over of this thing?  More like major tune up rather than tear-down.

Shops don't seem to like the sidecar.  Assuming it cause lift/space issues in their shops.

That is a sweet looking ride.

Can't you remove the sidecar before taking it into a shop?

Since this a DOHC you should also cross post to cb750c.com.  This nabble forum is a mixed SOHC/DOHC forum and the cb750c forum is dedicated to the DOHC.

I guess I could.  However, all the alignment and other stuff (electrical and brakes) make it kind of messy.
Thanks for the tip on the cb750c.com site.  Will check it out.
