Simple wiring

fourwheeler04073
Hey guys, I'm building a 76 cb750k. I want to eliminate some of the wiring on my bike. I'm not going to run blinkers. I still want to keep the electric start. Any one have suggestions or done this? A diagram or any info would be a big help. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.  Lots of new people getting on here lately: maybe the word's out?

There should be a copy of the SOHC wiring diagram on our forum. Go to the home page, and put "wiring diagram" in the search box.

Running without turn signals?  Some states frown upon that.  I know almost everywhere you have to run at least rear turn signals. If you don't want them, I'd recommend just removing the lights and keeping the wiring intact.  Tape up the loose ends of the wires (particularly the non-ground ones) so you don't blow fuses.

Better to tie wires off rather than snip them out.  Think of the next guy who buys your bike off of you, and decides to turn it into a stock machine.  He/she will be cussing you out for clipping out wiring.  Trust me.  It happens.

Thanks Tools, I live in Maine and unless they changed the law you don't have to run them but if they are on the bike they have to work.
